Another friendly and another win, most satisfying was the result last night, as it was against a near enough full strength Saints side. I was not there however, as other commitments saw to that. But what I have heard from my reliable reporter who was there, that it was an easy win for the Blue Brazil. And that they were easily the best team in the second half.

Scorers were, Jon Robertson and Greg Stewart with two.

So, pre season is finished for another year then, and the first real test comes this Saturday down the road at Starks Park in the Ramsdens Challenge Cup. A repeat of last year’s gritty 1-0 victory at the same venue would be most welcoming. Kick Off 3PM.
